Colleen Harrington’s  Swan Valley School  6th-8th grade students toured the museum in February to learn about homestead families in the Swan Valley. Called Home Waters, the project is funded by the Museums Association of Montana and the Library of Congress to connect students with their history.

Mission Mountains Youth Crew, a high school student group from the Flathead Indian Reservation toured the Swan Valley Museum on July 20, 2022 with History and Culture Professor Tim Ryan of the Salish Kootenai College and Flathead National Forest archaeologist Ryan Powell.
